Deborah has studied under Award winning artists Stephen Quiller; (Master Artist and Author) Tucker Smith, (Master Artist) and Lee Kromschroeder (Master Artist) at the prestigious Jackson Hole Artists’ Workshop (1999, 2000), Duane Hada at ASUMH (2011-2013) and with other workshop instructors. Her work has been accepted in juried and non juried shows in the Northwest, Arkansas, and Indiana and has won many awards. Deborah’s works hang in private and corporate collections through out the United States, Canada, France and South America including locally in the Donald W Reynolds Library.
Deborah teaches workshops/classes in pastel and watercolor in Arkansas and surrounding states and at her Studio which is open by appointment or during her Open House occasions. Her studio has been on The Art Odyssey studio tour (2012, 2013)
Deborah is President of Ozark Regional Arts Council, (2012-current)Treasurer of White River Artists(2013-current), board/member of Area Art Club. She is the founder/chairman of ORAC’s very popular Women Artist Retreat held each year in September at Stone Creek Ranch near Mountain Home, AR. And the Fall Workshop.
Deborah is the author of Children’s literature book- Vanishing Treasurer Of The Virungas, and HaTeya Sam, Walkabout Sam, and photographic books, Photography: From A Different View, Designs From Nature, and Hawaii: A Creative View
